Ericsson's new RSU 8 fusion splicer is the perfect tool when splicing ribbon with up to 8 fibers quickly, easily and accurately. The RSU 8 is a member of the RSU family of fusion splicers, and like the RSU 12, we designed it with the user in mind to make operation and handling virtually effortless.

A wide range of fully automatic programs are incorporated together with Ericsson's unsurpassed know-how in fusion splicing and our precision "hot image" splice estimation.
The RSU 8 is loaded with a host of other convenient features, like a safety shield that doesn't block your view and a disc drive for storing/loading your data, programs and future software upgrades. You even have a built-in heat oven, and as an option, a built-in tensile tester as well as a full range of other accessories
